DAY 01 BOGOTA – MADRID

Arrive at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá 3 hours prior to departure of flight AV 0010 to Madrid. Overnight on board

DAY 02 MADRID

Arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 03 MADRID – BORDEAUX (6h30min)

Breakfast and early in the morning we will leave Madrid passing through the vicinity of the city of Burgos to reach the border with France, continuing to the city of Bordeaux, capital of the Aquitaine region and the rest of the day free. Accommodation

DAY 04 BORDEAUX – BLOIS – PARIS

Breakfast and departure to the City of Light, stopping on the way in Blois. We will enjoy the charm of one of the most impressive cities in the Loire Valley Region, known for its beauty and its castles. The castle of Blois, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000, is considered one of the most important. After free time we will continue to Paris. Arrival and accommodation.

At night, there will be an optional excursion to cruise along the River Seine, taking in Paris at night. This visit is unique in the world due to the impressive lighting that accompanies its avenues, squares and monuments. Seeing the Cathedral, City Hall, Les Invalides, the Arc de Triomphe, the Opera and the Eiffel Tower illuminated, among others, is truly a spectacle.

DAY 05 PARIS

After breakfast we will set out to explore the “City of Love”, passing by the Avenue des Champs Elysees, the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, the National Assembly, the Opera, the Louvre Museum, the Invalides, the Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower, etc. In the afternoon we will offer you an optional excursion to sail on a romantic cruise along the River Seine. We will continue to explore Montmartre, an emblematic corner of Paris, also known as the “Painters’ Quarter” for being the birthplace of the Impressionists. Its small, steep streets form a network that houses everything from the oldest cabarets to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Next we will take a walk through the famous Latin Quarter, enjoying its small alleys dotted with friendly restaurants and typical Parisian cafes. This neighborhood owes its name to medieval times, when the inhabitants of the area were students who used Latin to communicate. We will also have a spectacular view of Notre Dame Cathedral, where we will understand why it is so important worldwide. Our guide will explain to us what has happened recently and the possibilities that are opening up for what could be the largest restoration project of the 21st century. In the evening we will have the possibility of taking the optional excursion to the iconic Lido show. Accommodation.

DAY 06 PARIS

After breakfast we recommend the optional excursion to the Palace of Versailles and its gardens. We will take a tour inside the royal apartments (with priority entry), where the guide will tell us about the royal life of the place. We will also discover the spectacular Palace Gardens. Return to Paris. Free afternoon and accommodation.

DAY 07 PARIS – LUCERNE (6h10min) --- LUCERNE - ZURICH (30min)

Breakfast. Early in the morning we head south to reach the border with Switzerland. We continue to the city of Lucerne, considered the most touristic place in this country. It is located on the shore of Lake Lucerne and the Reuss River with its famous Chapel Bridge. We will enjoy free time in this charming alpine village. Later we continue to Zurich.

DAY 08 ZURICH – VERONA (4h20min) --- VERONA - VENICE (1h10min)

Breakfast and departure towards the Italian border, passing through the vicinity of Milan, we will arrive at the romantic and medieval city of Verona, immortalized by the story of Romeo and Juliet. Free time to take a walk and reach Juliet's house. Later, continue to Venice. Arrival and accommodation.

DAY 09 VENICE – FLORENCE (2h30min)

After breakfast we will be amazed by the city of 118 islands and its more than 400 bridges whose characteristics make it absolutely unique and exclusive. We will walk along the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark's Square with its incomparable setting where the Cathedral stands out, a jewel of architecture, which shows us the splendor experienced in this city.

Free time. For those who like, we will organize a musical serenade on gondolas (optional). There is no other place in the world to experience this. Not to be missed.

Later, departure towards the motorway to cross the Apennines and reach the city of Florence. Accommodation.

DAY 10 FLORENCE - ROME (3h)

Breakfast and walking tour of this unique city where art surprises us at every step we take. We will walk through St. Mark's Square, passing in front of the Academy of Fine Arts and arriving at the Straw Market. We will contemplate the combination of beautiful marbles on the façade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria delle Fiore and its unmistakable Giotto bell tower. We will also enjoy the Baptistery and its famous Gates of Paradise. We will look out over the famous Ponte Vecchio.

Vecchio and we will reach the Piazza della Santa Croce to admire the Franciscan Basilica of the same name. Free time. Later we continue to Rome. Arrival and accommodation.

In the evening we can take an optional excursion to Baroque Rome. Part of this tour is by bus, contemplating the exuberance of the monument known as the Altar of the Fatherland. We will continue along the Aurelian Wall from the 3rd century, the popular and elegant Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, the Fountain of the Naiads accompanied by the Basilica created by Michelangelo, Santa Maria degli Angeli, etc. When we leave the bus, prepare to experience the eternity of this city. We will reach the most famous fountain in the world, the Trevi Fountain, we will see the Pantheon of Agrippa, with its open dome, and the historic Piazza Navona. And at the end, something that will surprise us…

DAY 11 ROME

After breakfast we will visit Papal Rome, the Rome of the Empire and the Rome of modernity. We will arrive at Piazza Venezia, where we will also appreciate the grandeur of this city in the early years of the Christian era. We will find the Trajan Markets, the Temple of the Vestal Goddesses and, as a finale to this perspective, the unmistakable figure of the “Flavian Amphitheatre”, known as “The Colosseum”, an unmistakable symbol of the city. We will also pass by the Circus Maximus, the patriarchal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and crossing the Tiber River we will arrive at the Vatican.

And prepare to release emotions. We will propose an optional excursion to the smallest state in the world, with just 44 hectares, but with an immeasurable universal cultural heritage. This visit will take us through the grandeur of the Vatican Museums, until we reach the Sistine Chapel, and with immense emotion, we will admire Michelangelo's two masterpieces, the Vault (when he was 33 years old) and The Last Judgement (when he was 60 years old). And respecting the rigorous silence, we will simply let ourselves go.

We will continue towards the largest Basilica in the world, St. Peter's, where only by being inside will we understand the grandeur of this place. We will be welcomed by Michelangelo, in this case a sculptor, with La Pietà. The great master Bernini will not be absent and his famous Baldachin on the High Altar, protected by the work of Michelangelo, now an architect, with the famous and enormous Dome of the Basilica. DAY 12 ROME

Breakfast and free day.

We will propose the optional full-day excursion to Pompeii and Capri. We will leave Rome to reach Pompeii, where we will be offered a coffee before entering to visit the city buried by the ashes of the Vesuvius volcano after the eruption in 79 AD. Touring the archaeological site will allow us to imagine the grandeur of this culture. Later we will continue to the port of Naples, in the heart of the ancient city, to embark for the paradisiacal island of Capri. Upon arrival a private boat will be waiting for us to sail around part of the island.

We will disembark at Marina Grande and head up to Anacapri (lunch included), the centre of high life and glamour. Free time until the time to return to the port to embark for Naples and continue to Rome.

DAY 13 ROME – PIZA (3h20min) --- PIZA - NICE (4h)

Breakfast and departure to the city of Pisa, always identified by its famous Leaning Tower, accompanied by a beautiful architectural complex composed of the Cathedral and the Baptistery. After free time we will continue our route and, passing through Genoa, we will travel along the Italian Riviera to reach the border with France and shortly after to Nice, capital of the Côte d'Azur. Accommodation.

In the evening we will organise an optional excursion to the world-famous Principality of Monaco, where elegance, architecture and lighting come together to form a unique setting. You will have free time to visit the Monte Carlo Casino. All glamour.

DAY 14 NICE – BARCELONA (6h10min)

Breakfast and departure towards Spain, crossing the regions of La Provence and Languedoc - Roussillon to reach the border. Upon entering Barcelona, we will make a brief visit to the city to see the Sagrada Familia, Plaza Cataluña, the Columbus monument, Plaza de España, etc. Accommodation.

DAY 15 BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA (2h50min) --- ZARAGOZA - MADRID (3h10min)

Breakfast and departure to Zaragoza, where we will make a brief stop to admire the oldest Marian temple in Christianity, the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, which forms part of the enormous square of the same name. We continue to Madrid. Arrival and accommodation.

DAY 16 MADRID

Breakfast and city tour where we will get to know the main avenues, squares and monuments. We will discover places such as Plaza de España, Gran Vía, the Fountain of the Goddess Cibeles, Puerta de Alcalá, the famous bullring of Las Ventas, etc.

Afterwards, continuing through the modern area, we will end up in the Madrid of the Austrias. Charms such as the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza de Oriente will give a splendid end to this tour of the capital of Spain. Free afternoon.
